YUSHY SECTION 63 EXHIBITION

To mark the launch of his new photobook Section 63: Underground & Unmastered – Documenting Underground London Raves, photographer Yushy presents an exhibition at The Farsight Gallery from 3 – 9 September.

This powerful book documents the raw energy of London’s underground rave scene, capturing a new wave of DIY party crews reclaiming space in the face of increasing nightclub closures. Shot over several years with intimate access, the images offer a rare glimpse into a community driven by resistance, unity, and the love of sound.

Named after the infamous clause in the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 — the law that sought to crush rave culture — Section 63 is both a tribute and a call to arms for the next generation of ravers.

The private view is on Thursday 4 September from 7pm – 10pm. Yushy will be in conversation with Ed Gillet, so join us for a night of talk, music, and drinks. Admission is free, but please get a ticket in advance to ensure entry. All welcome.
