Jem Panufnik

Jem Panufnik

Since the late 90s artist and musician Jem Panufnik has been right at the cutting edge of underground art and music culture, most notably with Finger Lickin’ Records, the pioneering dance music label he co-founded and which for over a decade acted as a springboard for his multitude of talents ranging from graphics and illustration to DJing and record production.

His highly distinctive, often surreal comic-funk style can be seen on everything from record sleeves, t-shirts and tattoos to rock posters and beer labels. Jem’s print and poster art has been exhibited in the UK and US.

As a composer and producer, Jem has a huge repertoire of club tracks and remixes under his various aliases including Jem Stone and Soul of Man, as well as scoring for film, TV, immersive experiences and live events.
